AN Engineering & Technology supply a service which covers the complete Cthodic Protection requirement from the initial ground or environmental survey through to the corrosion report and material specifications.Of particular importance is the maintenance service which this company offers. Regular maintenance visits can be undertaken and these visits will include not only the testing and balancing of the system, but a report indicating future trends and possible material replacement requirements, which will enable sensible financial budgeting to be made.

3. MATERIAL SUPPLY

The complete range of cathodic protection items will be offered/ made available through local or our associate companies abroad. However, the development of the country’s indigenous manpower and material resources will be a major objective of the company and towards this goal, the company has already undertaken a venture to manufacture some of the cathodic protection items locally.

ABOUT

AN Engineering & Technology is sponsored by two corrosion engineers from Bangladesh. The company was formed as a result of increasing industrial demands for trouble shooting, advisory, testing, monitoring and cathodic protection services. It was also felt that there was scope for a small integrated company which could undertake complex corrosion investigations combined with specialist survey, design, installation and maintenance services.

Dissemination of knowledge on corrosion to create an awareness of the subject within the country is one of the key objectives of the company. It has been estimated that losses from corrosion in Bangladesh could be potentially saved by the application of anticorrosion techniques. It is a widespread belief that a level of ignorance and misconception about corrosion exists, and is in need of correction not least the widespread impression that its control must always be expensive.
